Amanda Carole Young and Erwin James “Doc” Eldridge IV of Athens, Georgia, were united in marriage Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at Oconee Springs in Bogart, Georgia. Dr. Albert Myers officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Brenda Young of Conyers, Georgia and Mike Young of Athens, Georgia. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Young of Conyers, Georgia and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Miner of Conyers, Georgia.

The groom is the son of Doc and Sheri Eldridge of Athens, Georgia. He is the grandson of Doc and Jane Eldridge of Athens, Georgia and the late Mr. and Mrs. Billy Pace of Athens, Georgia.

The maids of honor were Katelyn Wilkinson of Kennesaw, Georgia, cousin of the bride and Gini Eldridge of Athens, Georgia, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids included Julia Burdell of Atlanta, Georgia, Kristen Henderson of Greensboro, South Carolina, Allison Hill of Charleston, South Carolina, Meg Ingram of Atlanta, Georgia, Jodi Dekle Kerr of Athens, Georgia, Sarah Motley North of Atlanta, Georgia, and Jill Morse Weekley of Athens, Georgia.
